British Proofed Model 1905 serial number 512 - In
April of 1906, 10 guns were shipped to Wilkinson, London
and all were listed in their inventory. The trail ends with
a private sale. A similarly inscribed pistol (Serial Number
3454) is pictured in The Colt Model 1905 Automatic
Pistol on p. 102. This second pistol has 2265 on
the bottom of the trigger guard.
