Conversion Unit in Original Box - SN U998 (ca. 1941)
Pre-WWII (ca. 1940) Numbered Conversion Unit U998 -
in average condition complete with partial original box, and
all accessories. Two tone magazine with "Service Model"
designation on the floor plate. Floating chamber and barrel
are numbered to the slide.

"U" prefix number "U998" is on the top of the slide
just ahead of the rear Stevens sight.

Barrel and floating chamber are numbered to match the
slide. Ejector is also held in place by small piece of wire
staked into place on the left side of the barrel.
